Sometimes it's ok to be basic - especially with this simple, powerhouse cleanser containing organic lemon balm hydrosol, aloe Vera gel, vegetable glycerin and lavender essential oil.

Lemon Balm Hydrosol is especially effective in applications for oily skin and in helping to combat acne. It offers anti-viral and anti-inflammatory action (as does Aloe Vera).

Aloe vera gel contains two hormones, Auxin and Gibberellins, that provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Giberellin in aloe vera acts as a growth hormone stimulating the growth of new cells. It allows the skin to heal quickly and naturally, so it can help diminish the appearance of acne scarring.

Lavender essential oil inhibits the bacteria that cause the initial infection in acne, helps to regulate some of the over-excretion of sebum by hormonal manipulation, and can reduce the signs of scarring after the acne has begun to heal.

Vegetable glycerin is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture right into your skin, making it silky soft.

This cleanser does not foam, but don't let that fool you. All these ingredients combined create a powerhouse of cleansing action, and can also help calm any skin irritation occurring above, or below, the surface. (It also smells incredible, and who doesn't want a lovely smelling face?
